Creative Learning (epub)
How To Develop Creativity In Schools
Lannert, Judit–Németh, Szilvia

Today’s education systems, still largely shaped by 19th-century industrial models, are increasingly struggling to respond to the complex challenges of the 21st century. In many countries, students’ academic success continues to be strongly determined by their family background, leaving disadvantaged children with fewer opportunities to thrive. In response to these challenges, the Creative Partnerships Hungary programme was launched to bring creativity, collaboration, and the arts into everyday teaching practice, while fostering high expectations and meaningful learning opportunities for all students.

Internationally recognised and grounded in evidence-based practice, the programme supports the development of both individual and collective creativity through long-term collaboration between teachers and creative practitioners. Its inclusive methodology offers innovative approaches to learning, participation, and school culture, particularly in disadvantaged educational contexts.

This ebook primarily presents the Hungarian adaptation of the UK-developed Creative Partnerships programme, drawing on years of local implementation experience, practical examples, and measurable outcomes. At the same time, it also provides an accessible overview of the programme’s international methodological foundations, its understanding of creativity, and the historical development of the original UK initiative. By connecting theory, international context, and Hungarian practice, the publication offers valuable insights into how creative learning approaches can contribute to more inclusive, engaging, and future-oriented education.

The book is primarily recommended for educators, school leaders, and creative practitioners, but it may also be inspiring and useful for parents and anyone interested in educational innovation and the role of creativity in learning.
